Q: Why does my dogPACER Treadmill computer display show EO and it will not turn on?
A: We have a built in safety feature that only allows the dogPACER Treadmill to operate if the Red Magnet Emergency Key is in place.
Q: What should I do if the belt is shifting to the right?
A: This means the right side does not have enough tension. To fix, tighten the right knob while the treadmill is on and running between 1-1.5 mph, tighten until the belt is centered.
Q: What should I do if the belt is shifting to the left?
A: This means the left side does not have enough tension. To fix, tighten the left knob while the treadmill is on and running between 1-1.5 mph, tighten until the belt is centered.
Q: What should I do if I have enough belt tension on the right, but the belt keeps going to the right?
A: In this situation, leave the right knob alone and loosen tension on the left knob while the treadmill is on and running between 1-1.5 mph, loosen until belt is centered.
Q: What should I do if I have enough belt tension on the left, but the belt keeps going to the left?
A: In this situation, leave the left knob alone and loosen tension on the right knob while the treadmill is on and running between 1-1.5 mph, loosen until belt is centered.
Q: My treadmill is on, I can see the Amber light on, the computer is running, but my treadmill belt is not working. What should I do?
A: There could be an assembly error. First, turn the Amber light off wait a few seconds and turn it back on. If this does not resolve your issue, proceed to step two. Step two, turn off the Amber light and unplug your treadmill. Make sure the computer cable connection from the treadmill to the computer is assembled correctly. Check the computer cable prongs, there should be 5 straight metal prongs. When the computer cable is connected correctly you should here a click. Then proceed to plugging in your treadmill and turn back on the Amber light; your belt on the treadmill should be working.
Q: My treadmill belt is making a rubbing noise what should I do?
A: This issue can occur when the belt is touching the plastic on the outside of the frame, or an issue with the belt tension. First, adjust the belt tension and make sure the belt is not touching the frame. If you are still hearing the rubbing noise, turn your treadmill on its side, and make sure the belt is not tucked under the “L” shaped metal frame hooks.
